Yoga day. Still sore in the legs from the lunge workout Sat, so I opted for a leg yoga rather than Ageless Mobility (my standard "light" day workout). 55 mins of "hip helpers" from Jill Miller's DVD of the same name.
This is the diary of my basement workouts with kettlebells and yoga. Here are some of the programs referenced in the entries:
Intu-Flow: A "joint mobility" program. Basically it lubes up your body by taking all your joints through their full range of motion. Good for warmup before workout, or as a way to work out the kinks in the AM.
Official Kettlebell Foundation DVD Series from Scott Sonnon: This DVD series has 3 discs: First, some instruction in the basic KB lifts. Second, a joint mobility program based on Intu-flow, but specific for kettlebell workouts. Last, a compensatory yoga routine that helps to release the tension built up during the workout.
FlowFit: Another Sonnon program, this is a good aerobic workout that can be done in about 15 minutes.
Ageless Mobility : This sounds like something for old people, but it's actually a really nice yoga program that has helped me to strengthen all those postural muscles that keep me from hunching over the computer.
Magnificent Mobility: Great routine for waking up the posterior chain. I totally credit this program with helping me reach rock bottom, flat foot squat in about one month.
